At the Meta Connect event that will take place tomorrow, the Meta AI chatbot will reportedly be officially launched with the voices of some top celebrities. According to Reuters, among the celebrity voices that will be offered are actors John Cena, Dame Judi Dench, Awkwafina, Keegan-Michael Key and Kristen Bell.
Previously there were rumors that Meta paid millions of dollars to these celebrities to use their voice rights. Meta Connect is an event that Meta uses to announce new products and features on their platform.
The use of celebrity voices in this AI project can also distinguish Meta from its competitors such as Apple (Siri) and Google (Google Assistant). Previously virtual assistants with the voices of celebrities such as Mr Beast, and Snoop Dogg were offered to Instagram users but this feature was discontinued last July.
