New Apple Mac Mini Expected to Drop USB-A Connection

Apple is expected to introduce an update to their mini-sized computer, the Apple Mac Mini later this year. It has been said that the new Mac Mini will be more compact in size, about the size of an Apple TV. Apart from that, Apple is also expected to bring some changes to the connection port that comes with it.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is expected to no longer include USB-A connections on future Mac Mini computers. Instead, it will be replaced with a USB-C connection.

This may be in line with the changes that have been made to the Macbook laptop, which no longer includes a USB-A connection, and focuses entirely on USB-C.

The new Apple Mac Mini is expected to be powered by the Apple M4 chip, and will still retain some other connections such as Ethernet, HDMI and even an audio jack.

Apple may introduce this Mac Mini around October, and it will be on the market by the end of 2024.
