New ASUS Zenbook S 14 and Vivobook S 14 Launched With Intel Lunar Lake Chips



With the new Intel Lunar Lake chip just launched at IFA Berlin this week, several laptop models with this chip have also been launched by the manufacturer. ASUS launched two new models namely ASUS Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) ​​and ASUS Vivobook S 14 (S5406SA).



ASUS Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) ​​is a device that focuses on users looking for an ultra-portable laptop with a thin design of only 1.1cm. The cover is made of Ceralumin material which combines the strength of aluminum but with a ceramic finish. It is equipped with a new Intel Core Ultra 9 chip with NPU 48 TOPS which allows it to be classified as a Copilot+ PC.



The screen is 14″ OLED with 3K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The audio system has four speakers and the FHD AiSense IR camera supports several artificial intelligence modes to improve the quality of teleconference video. The 72 Wh battery offers all-day use and there are also various I/Os that users need.



ASUS Vivobook S 14 (S5406SA) is equipped with a 14-inch 16:10 OLED screen and an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V chip with 47 NPU TOPS. The ASUS IceCool cooling system allows the processor to operate at a TDP of 35 W. The 75 Wh battery offers up to 27 hours of use.


The Harman Kardon audio system also supports the Dolby Atmos system. I/O options are complete with a micro SD card reader. The keyboard has a light while the touchpad has a 16:9 ratio. The entire device is only 1.39 cm thick and weighs 1.3 kilograms.


These two laptops will enter the Malaysian market but the selling price has not yet been announced by ASUS.
