Nothing Phone (2a) Plus finally entered the Malaysian market today after it was launched globally last July. It is simply an updated model of the Nothing Phone (2a) with changes made to the processor chip, selfie camera and faster charging.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is equipped with a 6.7″ AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a Mediatek Dimensity 7350 Pro chip, 12GB RAM memory, 256GB internal storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging. There is still no wireless charging support on this device.
The dual-camera used on the back consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, a 50MP sensor is used in the selfie camera. The camera can record video at 4K 30FPS resolution and there is an OIS system on the wide-angle lens.
There is also an under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, NFC, passing IP54 waterproof and dustproof standards and a Glyph lighting system on the rear panel. Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is sold in Malaysia at a price of RM1,999 each in black and gray. This is RM300 more expensive than the Nothing Phone (2a) which uses the Dimensity 7200 Pro chip.
