The Redmi 14C was launched as a successor to the budget phone Redmi 13C that was announced in November 2023. It offers better upgrades that include a screen with a higher refresh rate and a larger capacity.
To be more specific, the Redmi 14C uses a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen (1640 X 720 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is paired with a Mediatek Helio G81-Ultra chip which means it only supports LTE networks. The device also runs the latest HyperOS software (based on Android) with a memory option of up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Available configurations may vary by market and 8GB of RAM virtual RAM is also provided if required. Other features found on the device are a 50MP main camera, a 13MP selfie camera and a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging. It is no less interesting because it offers a 3.5mm audio jack which is one of the features that is quite difficult to find on a modern device.
No details on availability in Malaysia are known so far.
