The Tecno Phanto V Fold2 was also launched with upgrades that include a redesigned rear camera module with a tri-camera system arranged in a square shape. The design looks different from the norm but Tecno still maintains the back of a kind of leather and the curved display used on the original model.
Tecno Phantom V Fold2 has a 7.85″ AMOLED 2K primary screen paired with a 6.42″ AMOLED FHD+ secondary screen. The Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ chip is used as the mainstay with a memory option of 12GB RAM (expandable with an additional 12GB RAM) and 512GB internal storage. The camera system consists of a 50MP tri-sensor on the back for main, ultra wide and portrait, in addition to a 32MP + 32MP dual front camera. Not to mention IP54 waterproof.
The 5,700mAh battery used also supports 70W Ultra Charge and 15W Fast Wireless Charge wired charging. For the first time Tecno has included wireless charging in its range of foldable screen phones. Just like the Phantom V Flip2, the device is powered by the Tecno Artificial Intelligence Suite for several built-in AI features. For example the virtual assistant Ella which is now integrated with Gemini, AI Tools: Smart Q&A, AI Summary, AI Translation, AI Writing and AI Artboard.
Tecno further complements the device with its first stylus support. It is called Phantom V Pen which only weighs 10 grams. Also equipped with two buttons for easy control. One button provides quick access to AI features on the phone. Meanwhile, other buttons can be used for various other tasks such as taking pictures, controlling music and so on.
