Qualcomm is now offering Snapdragon X chips for Windows laptops, offering long battery life support without sacrificing Windows performance. Most recently, today Qualcomm added to their portfolio of Snapdragon X chip offerings, by introducing their latest processing chip that brings an 8-core design, the Snapdragon X Plus.
This chip will power Windows laptops, while also offering a good CoPilot+ PC-powered artificial intelligence experience to users through laptops using this chip. This chip uses a 4nm build.
Qualcomm says the use of an eight-core design on this chip offers 61% faster CPU performance, in addition to allowing the laptop to be connected to up to three monitors through the power of the GPU on the chip.
This chip is also included with the NPU 45 TOPS processing core, while offering a good experience when using artificial intelligence.
Qualcomm says this laptop using the Snapdragon X Plus chip will hit the market in the near future. The laptops that will be offered are also expected to be priced lower and competitive compared to others in the market.
