Realme 13 Pro 5G and Realme 13 Pro+ 5G are now officially launched in Malaysia seven months after the Realme 12 Pro series was launched. Both devices are in the middle class with a focus on photography capabilities.
Realme 13 Pro+ 5G is equipped with a 6.7″ FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is paired with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, 12GB RAM memory, 512GB storage and a 5200mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
The main tricamera on the back is also used with a 50MP Sony LYT-701 wide angle with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope telephoto Sony LYT-600. The selfie camera is 32MP which is placed in a small hole on the front screen. Other features the device has are stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio, IP65 waterproofing and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Next, the Realme 13 Pro 5G also uses a 6.7″ FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is matched with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, 12GB RAM memory, 512GB internal storage and a 5200mAh battery with just 45W charging.
Then the camera system consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 wide-angle lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP selfie camera. No periscope camera lens support is provided here as found in the Pro+ version. Other features the device has are stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio, IP65 waterproofing and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Both are also paired with Realme's new imaging technology called HYPERIMAGE+. In addition to also integrating AI-based features that are believed to be able to improve the photography experience to a better level.
The features provided include AI HyperRAW Algorithm, AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Smart Removal, AI Audio Zoom and AI Group Enhance. Both also use Android 14 operating system with RealmeUI 5.0 launcher.
In Malaysia Realme 13 Pro+ 5G is sold at a price of RM2299 (12/512GB) while Realme 13 Pro 5G is sold at a price of RM1999 (12/512GB) one. The device will go on sale tomorrow with Realme offering a free gift of Realme Buds T01, a 1+1 year device warranty and a 730-day cracked glass replacement warranty worth RM1137.
