The Redmi Note 14 series was officially launched in China just now. It consists of three different models which include Note 14 5G, Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. This new offering arrives as a successor to the previous Redmi Note 13 series with some interesting changes. Here is the full offer on all devices.
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+ use a brand new finish with a thinner body and a large camera module. In addition, both devices also pass IP69 certification for water and dust resistance. Next, it is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass. A 6.67-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 3000nits peak brightness is also used on both devices.
The significant difference lies in the internal hardware where the Redmi Note 14 Pro is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chip with a memory option of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The main camera combination consists of a 50MP main sensor (Sony LYT-600), an 8MP ultra-wide angle (Sony IMX355) and a 2MP macro. It also has a solid electrolyte battery with a capacity of 5,500mAh with 45W fast charging.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip with memory options up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The camera system used consists of a main 50MP (Light Fusion 800, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide angle (Sony IMX355) and a 50MP portrait telephoto with a 60mm focal length and 2.5x optical zoom (Samsung S5KJN1 sensor). The Note 14 Pro+ also offers a 6,200mAh silicon carbon battery with 90W fast charging.
Last but not least is the Redmi Note 14. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2100nits peak brightness. Powering the device is a Mediatek Dimensity 7025 chip with 12GB of RAM memory and 512GB of internal storage. The main camera consists of 50MP (Sony LYT-600) + 2MP and a 16MP selfie camera. A 5110mAh battery is included supporting a 45W fast charging system. In addition to offering a 3.5mm audio jack, an on-screen fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.
In China, the device is sold at a starting price of RMB1399 (~RM825) for the Redmi Note 14, RMB1499 (~RM885) for the Redmi Note 14 Pro and RMB1999 (~RM1,180) for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. It is not yet known when these devices will be offered for the global market.
