Spotify and Instagram are said to be working together to develop an exciting feature that will allow users to share songs in real time on Instagram Notes. Through it, users can directly share songs currently playing on Spotify on Instagram Notes. It is similar to the previous Notes feature but with a musical twist.
This new feature will require users to link their Instagram account with Spotify. Then, Spotify will automatically create new Notes every time the user plays a song. Notes will show the title of the song and the name of the singer being listened to. This feature can also be turned off at any time. Previously, the song sharing feature in Notes had to be done manually and users had to select each song they wanted to share.
We are personally also excited about this kind of feature and can't wait to use it in the future. Unfortunately there is no official date yet on when this feature will be rolled out to all users but it will probably be provided through a future update.
