Spotify Expands 'Daylist' Feature To More Users

Spotify has now officially announced that the Daylist feature has been made available globally to all Spotify users in either the free or Premium version. Previously, the Daylist feature was only available in English and limited to certain market locations only. Then expanded to 65 more countries in March. Now Spotify has added support for 14 additional languages making Daylist accessible to all markets where Spotify is present.

The 'Daylist' feature in this Spotify application is a feature that works automatically to produce a playlist that suits the interests and tendencies of the genre and language in music that the user is interested in. The Daylist is updated every day and will change according to the user's preferences.

Through the expansion and improvement of this feature, Spotify now supports the Daylist feature in 14 new languages including Arabic, Catalan, French, Canadian, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Mexican and Turkish. Spotify will use a combination of location data and user music preferences to determine which language will be used in the Daylist.

For example, if you are in Malaysia and enjoy listening to Japanese songs, then Spotify will list the songs in that language in the Daylist list. Users can access the music list in Daylist on the "Made For You" section or through the web at this link.
