Through Ask Photos users can ask questions to Google Photos to find specific photos. It understands the context of questions because it uses artificial intelligence (AI) Gemini. Today Ask Photos became available to users in the United States after it was first shown at Google I/O last May.
Image search can be done by asking questions like "where did we go when in Kuala Selangor?". Gemini understands context and pictures related to locations and activities will be displayed in Photos. If the displayed image is still not accurate, the next question to refine the search can be given because Ask Photos understands the context of the conversation chain.
In addition, questions to display the best photos for birthdays, wedding anniversaries and more can also be asked to create a special album or a new Memories video that can then be shared.
