Communications Minister, Fahmi Fadzil has now shared that SKMM (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) will work with the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) to immediately resolve the problem of internet access in some IPTA campuses across the country. This is said to be in line with the Prime Minister's instructions to immediately solve the problem, in line with the opening of the new academic session semester soon.
This matter is also expected to involve service providers on campus involved in solving internet network problems.
As many are aware, many students use the internet not only to access teaching aids, but sometimes when involving virtual classes, in addition to discussions using video calls, etc. By solving this problem, it will make it easier for students in their daily learning affairs, without having to travel far or off campus, or use their own internet.
