Ultimate Ears, the audio brand under the Logitech company, has recently introduced their latest dwarf speaker called the UE Miniroll. This speaker is seen as a new offering to the Roll and Roll 2 dwarf speakers launched by them earlier.
There's no denying that the UE Miniroll looks a bit like the Google Nest smart speaker, but one notable difference is that it comes with a built-in battery, which Ultimate Ears says comes with a 12-hour lifespan on a single full charge.
Its compact design also features a hook that allows this speaker to be attached to bags, pants or places that have small hooks, and is suitable for carrying anywhere due to its compact size.
In addition to the all-round design with a circumference of 4.2 inches, this speaker also comes with IP67 dust and waterproof support and can withstand drops from a height of 1.2 meters. In terms of charging, this UE Miniroll speaker can be charged using a USB cable without any problems.
In terms of Bluetooth wireless connection support, this speaker can support a connection as far as 40 meters if there are no physical obstacles. You can also connect this speaker with another UE Miniroll to get deeper audio.
Unfortunately, UE also confirmed that this speaker does not support connection with other UE Boom speakers.
According to UE, this UE Miniroll speaker is offered in black, gray, pink and blue color options at a price of $79.90 in certain markets.
