If Instagram previously provided a DM (Direct Message) editing feature, now the X application has also started to introduce this feature on its social media platform but only to iOS device users. Before this feature was available, users had to resend new messages to correct spelling mistakes, but with the availability of this new feature, messages can be edited easily and quickly.
This DM editing feature indirectly makes communication between users more efficient while also improving the quality of their interactions. With this step, it also makes it easier for users to make edits if there are any mistakes quickly. To do so, the user only needs to tap on a message for a moment, and then select "Edit message" on the menu.
This kind of feature is felt to be quite useful especially for those who like to use this platform to communicate with friends or acquaintances. While this feature is currently only available to iOS device users, we hope that X will soon provide the same access to Android users.
