The main camera combines a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the front, a 32MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. The three main cameras on the back of the device are equipped with Leica Summilux lenses.

The Xiaomi 14T is a model with a 6.67″ CrystalRes AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision HDR system. It uses a Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip, 16GB RAM LPDDR5X memory, up to 512GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging. There is no wireless charging support on this model.

The main camera also combines a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. On the front, a 32MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. Again all three main cameras are equipped with Leica Summilux lenses.

Both devices use the Xiaomi HyperOS operating system based on Android 14. There is also an under-screen fingerprint scanner, infrared transmitter, stereo speakers and IP68 waterproof and dustproof capabilities.

AI features are also introduced on both devices such as real-time subtitles, the ability to perform automatic video editing generated by AI, and audio recording applications can produce transcripts that are then formulated automatically. Through Google's collaboration, Circle to Search and Google Gemini support has finally arrived on Xiaomi devices for the first time.

On the camera function, the Leica watermark and also the Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic color systems are given the same as the rest of the Xiaomi 14 series. According to Xiaomi, the strength of this series is portrait and night modes which are quite good for an affordable device camera. One improvement made on the 14T series is the faster image capture feature, especially in dark conditions to avoid the issue of images looking less sharp.

Xiaomi 14T sales price starts at Euro 649 (~RM3000) for the 12/256GB model while the Xiaomi 14T starts at Euro 799 (~RM3694) for the 12/256GB model. For the local price we have to wait after the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are launched tomorrow.
