YouTube Partners With Shopee For Ecommerce Features In Southeast Asia

Sea through Shopee has now announced a collaboration with YouTube, as well as showing the integration of the feature of buying and selling directly on YouTube and making purchases through Shopee. For now, this collaboration was announced in Indonesia first, and will be expanded to other Southeast Asian countries.

With this move, the YouTube Shopping feature will be expanded to this region, allowing content publishers to integrate Shopee shopping links on YouTube videos with tags on the products in the video. Users can then make purchases directly through Shopee easily without having to search and so on.

YouTube itself is expected to announce more e-commerce partners for YouTube Shopping integration in the region, but for now, only Shopee has been officially announced.

With this latest development, we are all looking forward to the official introduction of YouTube Shopping for the Malaysian market.
