Much has been said about the launch of NVIDIA graphics cards, especially regarding the GeForce RTX 5000 graphics card that will be introduced during the CES 2025 event in early January. However, regarding the latest offering from AMD, not many details are known so far.
Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD has recently been reported to have confirmed that the latest series of graphics chips by AMD, RDNA 4 will be introduced early next year, when answering questions regarding the decline in sales of their graphics card components from year to year by investors.
He said that the graphics card powered by the RDNA 4 chip will show improved performance in terms of Ray-tracing capabilities that provide more beautiful graphics processing, and also the ability to process better artificial intelligence inferences.
Dr. Lisa Su also confirmed that a series of graphics cards using the RDNA 4 processing chip will be introduced at the beginning of next year, but did not provide further details about it, whether it will be in the regular AMD Radeon series or Radeon Pro which is usually more used by professional users.
In the meantime, for now it is also unknown what AMD's plans are regarding graphics cards for the gaming laptop class, especially when for now, NVIDIA still dominates the market, and with some details about their own laptop offerings have already begun to be shown on web arena.
