AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is expected to be introduced on October 25

If you're writing a build list for a new desktop computer, you might want to wait a bit because new rumors say that AMD will be launching their latest series of X3D processing chips, including the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processing chip on October 25, 2024.

Official information about this processing chip has not been announced yet, but according to various leaked information that can be found on the internet recently, it is seen to feature eight Zen 5 physical cores with an all-core speed of 5.2GHz. For now, the overclocking speed for this CPU is not yet known, but it is expected to come with even higher values.

Another uniqueness of AMD's X3D CPU series is that it comes with a higher amount of cache memory (L2+L3+3D V-cache), said to be 105MB. The addition of V-Cache is seen as important especially for those who want to build a computer for gaming purposes, so that users can get higher frame rates in games.

AMD is also expected to launch more AMD Ryzen 9 9000X3D CPU models, but for the launch on October 25, it is expected that AMD will only show the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D model first.
