Anduril is now entering the arena of producing drones that can be used to carry out kamikaze-like suicide attacks after launching the Bolt-M. It's a quad-rotor drone designed to be easily carried by infantrymen to the battlefield. When needed it can be quickly installed to start a mission to destroy the enemy.
Each Bolt-M can carry 1.4 kilograms of explosives, fly for 4 minutes and operate up to 20km away from the operator. It is also capable of performing waterbang missions and following targets without manual control.
When an attack is to be carried out, the human operator only needs to set the direction, height and angle it needs to be carried out. It explodes before hitting the target allowing metal fragments to rain down over a wide area.
Weighing 5.4 kilograms, it is lighter than a rocket launcher that can carry out the same attack. In addition to Bolt-4, Anduril also launched a Bolt that can perform ISR missions in the field without the ability to perform early kill missions.
Bolt is another drone system for military purposes by Anduril who previously produced two anti-drone systems that hit drones by hitting them in the air.
