Apple today has begun to introduce access to their artificial intelligence, Apple Intelligence to users around the world. However, this initial introduction is limited to a few basic features only, such as improving writing, summarizing notifications, improved Siri, and easily removing objects from photos. Apple is expected to add access to more features in December.
This is seen to facilitate Apple's move to integrate artificial intelligence support directly into the operating system of their devices, before starting to gradually expand the feature. Access to Apple Intelligence is offered through iOS 18.1 for iPhone, iPadOS 18.1 for iPad, and also macOS Sequoia 15.1 for Mac users.
To use it, you need the latest iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max for iPhone users. For tablet users, you need an iPad with an A17 Pro or M1 chip and the latest, while Mac users with an Apple M1 chip and the latest. Operating system updates can be done starting today.
