Apple Reportedly Reducing Production of the Non-Pro iPhone 16 Series

Apple is now said to be reducing production of the non-Pro iPhone 16 model, i.e. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus between now and the first half of 2025. Apple is said to be reducing production by around 10 million units for the period in question, compared to the previous target. With this change, Apple is expected to produce around 80 million units of the iPhone 16 series until the first half of 2025.

In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo also shared that Apple will begin production of the iPhone SE4 this December, and will be sold in the first half of 2025.

For now, it's not known whether demand is waning, or whether Apple's initial target is already too high relative to its own market.
