Astro is now present with a special promotion for Astro customers, allowing them to subscribe to Viu Premium at a price of RM4.99 per month for the first 3 months, compared to the normal price of RM14.90 per month. With this offer, existing Astro customers can add the Viu streaming service under their subscription, and enjoy a number of programs offered through Viu.
In addition to this promotion, Astro also shared that starting November 1, 2024, they will add two more new channels. The Blippi and Friends channel (Channel 619) will be introduced in the Kids Pack at no extra charge. All Astro customers can enjoy this channel for free from 1 November until 31 January 2025.
At the same time, all Astro customers can also enjoy the Oppa Mania channel (Channel 100) from 1-30 November 2024, with a focus on Korean and Thai drama content.
Astro also added another streaming service under them, namely Simply South which offers Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam content at a price of RM10 per month for Astro customers, compared to the normal price of RM14.90 per month.
