In addition to Xiaomi and Honor announcing their first devices with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, ASUS did not lag behind by showing the design of the ROG Phone 9 also with the same chip. This makes the ROG Phone 9 series the first gaming device with the most powerful chip on the current market.
ROG Phone 9 maintains the same camera hump design as ROG Phone 8. The difference lies in the LED light system which is now smaller and in the square-shaped panel only. Support for two USB charging ports is also retained. According to ASUS, this year's ROG Phone 9 can run games like Genshin Impact with up to 30% power savings.
In the first Hell, the AI system can be used where the player can control the backup character by just using voice commands. With this the finger will not be released from controlling the main character and taking advantage of the ability to understand commands like the device's virtual assistant.
ASUS ROG Phone 9 will be launched next November. This is much earlier than the ROG Phone 8 which was launched last January. The full specifications of the device are still under wraps, but we'll be getting our hands on a ROG Phone 9 demo unit in today's media session.
