Audeze CRBN2 Introduced – The Latest Electrostatic Headphones Showcasing Unrivaled Audio Quality

Electrostatic headphones are not a new concept. Typically, earphones that use these electrostatic audio drivers can listen to a wider range of audio frequencies, and this allows more audio notes to be heard more clearly.

Recently, Audeze, an audio product manufacturing company from the United States has introduced their latest electrostatic headphones, the Audeze CRBN2 which uses electrostatic audio drivers with new technologies.

The Audeze CRBN2 uses a second-generation electrostatic audio driver made of carbon nanotubes which helps in increasing the listening width and audio separation, while giving the user a better bass experience as well.

Speaking of bass, Audeze also introduced SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology, which is a technology that apart from providing a clearer bass listening experience, it also ensures that the boom is more comprehensive and not concentrated in one area, ensuring that the user does not experience the issue of tired listening (audio fatigue) too quickly.

In the meantime, these headphones are also built with premium components, such as magnesium, carbon fiber, stainless steel and acetate polymer. Interestingly, Audeze also advises users to use the Audeze CRBN2 earphones with an amplifier capable of delivering 580V electricity and has listed several examples on their website.

The Audeze CRBN2 headphones are already on sale in some selected markets for $5995 (~RM24,000) via the Audeze website. For now it is not yet known whether they will bring it into the local market officially.
