One of the facilities that is widely used by all Malaysians in the Klang Valley is the My50 monthly pass which allows Malaysians to use their identity card as a pass to use public transport services such as RapidKL buses, KTM train services, LRT, MRT and Monorail.
During the presentation of the 2025 Budget, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the My50 Pass subsidy will continue for next year, which is expected to benefit more than 180 thousand users of public transport services in the Klang Valley.
In the meantime, the non-stop bus service continues to be supported with an allocation of over RM270 million and every major city in all states will be sure to receive this benefit.
Not only that, RM10 million will also be invested to increase access around the Klang Valley by adding special bus lanes on Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Cheras and Jalan Gombak along 47 kilometers. 100 bus stops in the Klang Valley will also be improved, involving the collaboration of GLC and private bodies to improve the level of safety and comfort of public bus service users.
