Today, many have pets as companions, including cats, even hamsters. Aware of the market, now Casio, which is famous for offering watches, comes with a pet robot named Moflin.
Moflin is seen as a small-sized pet robot that wants to be the user's companion, easy to hug and hold. Casio says Moflin integrates support for the ability to learn the wearer's behavior, and then provide related expressions in the form of movement and even sound.
The robot is also programmed to develop its own personality over time, giving it uniqueness. It will also remain happy and calm when its owner interacts regularly, and otherwise, it will start to become sad and depressed.
In Japan, Casio offers this robot at a price of ￥59,400, which is around RM1,700.
