DJI Sues US For Listing It As Owned By "Chinese Military"

DJI, the leading drone manufacturer, has now reportedly filed a lawsuit against the United States (US Department of Defense), for listing the company under a list that labels it as a company owned by the Chinese military. DJI itself states that it has been trying to contact the United States regarding this matter for over 16 months, but to no avail.

Left with no other alternative, DJI is now filing suit and taking the matter to federal court. DJI itself emphasizes that they are not owned or controlled by the Chinese military, and this labeling affects their business.

DJI was previously added to the list in 2022, making various US firms and organizations unable to cooperate or deal with companies on the list.
