Many content creators now love the CapCut app because it has AI features that make editing even easier. Among the features we also often use is automatic captioning, where the application transcribes the audio in the video into text for subtitles. More or less the same feature is now introduced in Apple's professional video editing application Final Cut Pro.
This feature is called Transcribe to Captions which uses Apple Intelligence to generate subtitles. It appears to have a very simple user method by simply pressing the significant magic wand icon with AI features and selecting Transcribe to Captions. It will then take time to process before the text transcription is displayed in subtitle format for further editing.
Apple also stated that in the future there will be other AI features for video editing. Since it's part of Apple Intelligence, this means it's supported on all Macs with an Apple M chip, the only thing that will differ is the processing performance.
