Design And Screen

This gaming laptop is seen stealing attention through the Cyber Mecha design that can usually be found on the Infinix GT series of phones. It can be seen on the cover that there is a semi-circular strip design similar to the GT 10 Pro and GT 20 Pro phones, but it is not equipped with RGB lights.

If there is only on the bottom of the hinge of the laptop close to the air vent. In addition, of course, the keyboard is usually offered on a game-focused device. It also has a cover made of AD aluminum alloy while the interior uses polycarbonate material.

At 1.99 kg it is actually not too heavy for a 16-inch gaming computer. It must be admitted that the brief experience of holding the GTBook feels solid in the hand. If you are not a gamer, chances are you still like this design.

When this laptop is turned upside down I can see that the bottom part houses an orange grill also known as bright orange. This matter indirectly attracted the attention of not only me but also the people around me who think that it is unique in accordance with its elegant design with a futuristic gaming theme.

There are also two speakers on the side that also have orange grilles. Four rubber pads are also provided with one of them the size of a small button on the top near the air vent. Infinix further equips this laptop with various I/O options such as HDMI 2.0, USB Type-A, USB Type-C and a charging port on the left side. Then on the right side there is a USB Type-C port, USB Type-A, 3.5mm audio jack and an SD card reader.

The 16-inch IPS LCD screen used has an anti-glare coating. I think the anti-glare coating is a welcome added feature that can make it comfortable to use in a variety of situations. Next the screen offers a full HD resolution (1920 x 1200), a refresh rate of 120Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:10.

At the same time has a peak brightness of 300 nits along with DCI-P3 color gamut capability with 100% SRGB. You can also see the uneven size of the laptop bezel with the top and bottom being thicker than the sides. The web camera used has FHD resolution and my tests found that the image produced was still acceptable even in a dark room.

Keyboard And Touch Pad

The GTBook is equipped with a full-sized keyboard including a number pad with 4-Zone RGB and WASD keys that have a special finish. The RGB lights that decorate the background can also be customized through the system's main software with a selection of lighting modes such as Rainbow, Clock, Flow, Waze and Breath in addition to more than 500 color options. In addition, there are three dedicated keys on the top right that are visible. The touch pad is also large with a smooth surface and good click feedback as far as I've tried.

Hardware And Software

The article continues with a technical look at this laptop. The GTBook is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU with an Intel Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. Memory options include 32GB LPDDR5X and 1TB PCIe 4 SSD internal storage. Talking about the battery, the GTBook is loaded with a 70Wh battery that also supports a 190W fast charging system via the charging port on the left side of the laptop. However, it should also be noted that this is the memory and memory and storage options for the units tested in this article. Not to be outdone, this laptop also runs Windows 11 Home Edition.

Conclusion

It can be said that Infinix gives a no less great offer through this laptop. Good build quality, large screen size and the latest hardware make it a potential contender. But unfortunately Infinix did not give a clear answer when asked about the planning of this laptop in Malaysia. Rather, simply stating that it will make further announcements if it happens.
