The AI-powered virtual assistant Gemini Live was launched alongside the Pixel 9 series last August. At launch it only supports English which limits its usability. Today, five more new languages are supported namely French, German, Portuguese, Hindi and Spanish.
Then in just a few more weeks up to 40 languages will be supported by Gemini Live. The complete list of new languages that will be supported has not been shared by Google. Another new feature introduced on Gemini Live is simultaneous bilingual support. Users only need to specify the two languages they want to use and Gemini will understand the commands given without having to switch languages first.
Android users can use Gemini Live for free in Malaysia as it replaces Google Assistant on their devices for the past few weeks.
