Global Signal Exchange Established by Google To Address Fraud And Protect Users

The Global Signal Exchange or GSE was established by Google in collaboration with the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) and the DNS Research Federation (DNSRF). GSE is Google's new project to curb online fraud and protect users who want to become a world-class clearinghouse.

What and how can GSE protect consumers? Among the things they will do is identify links and IP addresses associated with online fraudulent activity. By collaborating with two other like-minded organizations, they can collect more data on fraudulent activity and find solutions to protect consumers. For now, it is still in the initial phase with plans to become more active by 2025.

In the same Google partnership, Cross-Account Protection is said to have protected 3.2 billion Google account users who log into various applications or websites. Google stated that they will also continue to improve Cross-Account Protection so that users remain safe and don't worry about their data being misused by irresponsible parties.
