The OnePlus 13 is another flagship Android device that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This device will also support the same magnetic charging feature as the Oppo Find X8, continue to use the Hasselblad camera and have more powerful AI features through OxygenOS 15. Recently, the camera specifications of this device have been officially revealed.
The OnePlus 13 appears to still retain the 50MP camera, only now with the Sony LYT-808 wide-angle sensor, and paired with two more 50MP cameras for ultra-wide angle and telephoto. The telephoto camera this time no longer uses a periscope design, but instead uses a dual-prism design so that it can fit into a thinner and more compact device body.
OnePlus also shared that the telephoto camera sensor is 33% smaller with an f/2.6 lens opening and the sensor is round instead of the usual square. Image samples are also shown which preserve clearer details, more dynamic and vivid colors and have HDR effects that look neater and more consistent.
OnePlus 13 will be launched in China first before being introduced for the global market. At the moment the selling price is still not revealed but OnePlus says the highest specification is with 24GB RAM LPDDR5X memory + 1TB UFS 4.0 internal storage.
