It's really annoying when WhatsApp starts allowing messages to be deleted or edited. This is because sometimes we see the content of the text on the notification, only when it has been deleted or edited - as soon as we click on the notification, everything has changed with the latest content.
In this article I share how to read deleted messages. Previously I used the WhatsApp Mod application to read deleted messages but now there is a way to use an Android device to read these messages that no longer exist.
Read deleted WhatsApp messages
This feature is Notification History which is the notification history that you can open in the system settings of the notification section. If not found, just search for the keyword History. All notifications received within the last 24 hours will be saved. This includes the display of notifications with unedited or deleted text content that can be viewed through this settings page.
Only, it also has a limit. Because most Android devices manage notifications intelligently, messages from the same person on the same platform will be grouped together. For example, if someone sends three messages at once – you may only be able to see one.
This also affects the WhatsApp Group. This is limited to short and simple text content that can be read without expanding the size of the notification bubble. More interestingly this feature is available to the majority of Android devices as long as they have Google Play Services. Even if you can't read the full message, at least now you can know someone's true intentions before changing the original message.
