At the JBL Rewind Revolution Roadshow event that is taking place at Mid Valley Mega Mall, JBL also brought in their popular TWS, the JBL Tour Pro 3. It is a TWS that is quite unique because it has a touch screen that can be a transmitter and also supports Auracast.
JBL Tour Pro 3 is the successor to Tour Pro 2. It is TWS with active noise cancellation support (True Adaptive Noise Canceling 2.0), uses Dynamic Driver + 5.1 mm x 2.8 mm Balanced Armature audio driver and has 6x microphones. This TWS also uses JBL Spatial 360 and JBL Pro audio systems, in addition to having a battery life of up to 44 hours.
Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair quick pairing support is also included. Most unique is the 1.57-inch screen on the charging frame called Smart Charging Case. This screen can be touched to check device notifications, control each earphone, control music, check battery and quick access to Spotify.
With the use of Bluetooth 5.3, JBL Tour Pro 3 brings Auracast support. This Smart Charging Case can be a transmitter. For example, connect the Smart Charging Case to a television or screen in an airplane via an audio jack or USB-C cable without the need for a Bluetooth connection. Then if you have other speakers at home with Auracast support, the audio being played on those speakers can also be heard and controlled on the Tour Pro 3.
In Malaysia, the JBL Tour Pro 3 is sold at a price of RM1,499. It's RM100 more expensive than the Tour Pro 2 but with a bigger screen and better audio driver, this is a unique and interesting TWS you can get that the competition doesn't offer.
