Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition Introduced – Powered by Intel Core Ultra 200V Chip

Along with the launch of the Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake series of processing chips last month, more and more laptop brands are seen offering it alongside their latest thin and light laptops.

Lenovo has just held their Lenovo Tech World event, and at the event, has shown a new ThinkPad X1 laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition.

This laptop is equipped with a choice of 14-inch OLED touch display with 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800) or IPS touch display with WUXGA resolution (1920×1200) which comes with a brightness value of 500nit. In the meantime, with the name ThinkPad X1 2-in-1, this display can also be pushed back 360 degrees to turn this laptop into a 14-inch tablet.

In terms of design, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 features the same external frame as the previous Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9 laptop, which makes it a fairly thin and light laptop as well.

In terms of components, early announcements show that it will be powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 200V Lunar Lake processing chip. Details on what CPU will be used are not yet known, but it is expected that at least the Intel Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 chip options will be used in this series.

On this Aura edition laptop too, Lenovo will introduce a number of new AI features and technologies that will improve user productivity both inside and outside the office.

In the meantime, Lenovo also says that the battery life of this laptop will be significantly longer than any previous offering, and this statement is seen to be in line with what we found in our Intel Core Ultra 7 258 processor chip review via ASUS laptop The recent Zenbook S 14.

Lenovo says that the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition laptop will arrive in selected markets in February 2025 next year, with a starting price of €2,389 (~RM4680).
