LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, now shares that it has more than 55 million users who have verified their identity on the platform, saying it is the social media with the highest number of verified human identities, compared to any other service provider.
LinkedIn offers a free identity verification feature, and subsequently displays a blue smear on their profile. This offer is expected to reduce the spread of false or fraudulent information, not to mention the increased use of artificial intelligence.
At the same time, LinkedIn itself set a target to reach 100 million verified users by 2025.
In addition to verification for individual users, they also verify company pages. LinkedIn has several partners in verifying the user's identity using the government identification of a country.
As for yourself, do you verify identity on LinkedIn?
