LinkedIn is now said to be working with a number of content publishers, and wants to focus on promoting news articles through their social platforms. This step at the same time puts LinkedIn playing a different step compared to Facebook which started to reduce the display of news articles.
Through the latest tests, LinkedIn began to show a "News Banner" at the top of the application, allowing users to easily access various articles and the latest news through it. It is not yet known whether this test will be limited to the United States market only or globally.
With this move, it is also in line with the target of social media focusing professionals to stay up to date with current developments without having to leave the platform.
