Max Will Launch In Malaysia On November 19 With 3 Subscription Plans



We have been waiting for HBO Max to come to Malaysia for years. Now with the name Max, it is finally ready to replace HBO GO which has been confirmed to arrive in Malaysia this year. Today, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that Max Asia will be accessible in Malaysia from November 19.



Max will also be launched in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Through the launch of the Max application in the Southeast Asian market, three subscription plans will be introduced, namely Mobile, Standard or Ultimate. For now the subscription price has not yet been revealed.


Here are the plan details for the number of devices that can be used, the quality of streaming and the amount of videos that can be downloaded for offline viewing.

For Mobile, in Malaysia it will only be offered through collaboration with selected telecommunication companies. The Max.com website and app will be available on November 19 along with the subscription price.



For Max, Warner Bros. Discovery states content from the world of Harry Potter, DC Universe, Cartoon Network, Max Originals, Discovery channels, TLC, AFN, Food Network, and more are accessible. Sitcom Friends, TV series Dune: Prophecy and IT: Welcome to Derry will also arrive concurrently with the US air dates.


Max will also offer a different user experience with HBO GO. For example, one account account supports five different profiles with their own playlists and collections of favorite content.
