Yesterday we reported that the latest update of the MyJPJ application has issued a notice that starting October 10, logging into the application can only be done using the MyDigital ID digital authentication account that was introduced in the middle of this year.
Today, Transport Minister Anthony Loke has given a statement saying that the requirement to log in using MyDigital ID is not mandatory, as before.
Speaking about the notice issued on the application, Anthony Loke has said that it is not an official notice, and has ordered it to be removed for now. The decision to require the use of MyDigital ID to log into the MyJPJ application, or any other government service application is no longer approved.
