Insta360 will launch a new action camera on October 22, 2024. It was revealed by the company itself through a new partnership on social media and the official website. Although the name was not mentioned, many assumed the intended product was Ace Pro 2 since it had also been leaked before.
It further strengthens the speculation when the product shown has similarities with previous viral images. Further details were not detailed on key specifications, but a brief video was shared showing some key highlights. The most obvious of course is the same design as the previous Insta 360 Ace Pro. At the same time, it is believed to be durable in various conditions and temperatures, whether hot or cold. Again the camera is believed to have a lens developed in collaboration with Leica. The included small screen also still displays information about the video recording feature.
Just for information, the Ace Pro was previously equipped with a 1/1.3″ 48MP sensor with 8K video recording capabilities. It also has waterproof standards up to a depth of 10 meters and 60 meters when using diving frame accessories. What about this new offering?
