The Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard are three products that haven't been updated in a while. Magic Mouse is a product that has long received criticism because it cannot be used while charging because the charging hole is placed at the bottom. According to a MacRumors report, these three products will be updated in the near future.
In the latest iOS 18.1 RC code, new product names Magic Mouse 2, Magic Trackpad 2, and several more Magic Keyboard models have been found. It is likely that the product will be updated to bring USB-C port support in place of the Lightning port to meet EU requirements regarding the use of USB-C charging cables.
It is hoped that major changes are made to all three products that have not received a new lease of life for a long time. We don't want to see just a charging port change done like what happened with the AirPods Max last month.
