Honor has launched two new models in the X60 series yesterday. It is known as Honor X60 Pro and X60 with each having advantages and improved capabilities to meet the needs of modern users. All of them are also marketed as mid-range phones and their full specifications are as below.
The Honor X60 Pro uses a 6.78-inch curved FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3000nits peak brightness. This is paired with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip which is seen as a step down from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 used in the previous X50 Pro. Memory options are up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
The latest software MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14 comes with various interesting functions for a better experience. Dual cameras are used consisting of 108MP + 2MP which can also record 4K video. It also has an 8MP selfie camera, a side fingerprint scanner, a 6,600mAh battery with 66W charging, a two-way telecommunication system and a stereo audio system with Histen 7.1 technology.
The Honor X60 has a flat 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 850nits peak brightness. This is paired with a Mediatek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip with up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage and MagicOS 8.0 software based on Android 14. The included 5800mAh battery can be charged via 35W charging and a USB-C port. The camera consists of 108MP + 2MP on the back in addition to an 8MP selfie camera. It also has a side fingerprint scanner and stereo audio system with Histen 7.1 technology.
Sales prices start at RMB 1,500 (~RM905) (8/128GB) for the X60 Pro while RMB 1,200 (~RM725) (8/128GB) for the X60. No details about its availability for the global market are known at this time. However, it is believed to be marketed with different branding and minor upgrades to the internal hardware when entering the global market in the future.
