Huawei has added two new models in the Nova series in China. The device known as Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro is seen to offer a new image with a more premium finish. Also focus on enhanced camera capabilities. Here are the full specifications of both devices.
The Huawei Nova 13 has a 6.7-inch OLED flat screen while the Nova 13 Pro uses a 6.76-inch curved OLED screen. Both also offer FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The advantage of Nova 13 Pro that has 2160Hz PWM Dimming technology is higher than 1440Hz on the standard version in order to minimize flickering issues.
There are no details on the processing chip but 12GB of RAM memory and 1TB of internal storage are included in the device. In addition to also running HarmonyOS 4.2 software with a user-friendly interface and smoother connectivity across the Huawei ecosystem.
Dual-camera 50MP (f/1.9) main + 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide and 60MP (f/2.4) selfie camera are used on the Nova 13 device. The advantage is again on the Pro version equipped with a camera with variable aperture opening 50MP (f/1.4-f/4.0), 12MP telephoto with 3X optical zoom and 8MP ultra-wide. The 60MP selfie camera is placed in a small hole.
The camera systems of both the Nova 13 and Nova 13 Pro are equipped with built-in OIS. In addition to supporting Huawei's Da Vinci Portrait Engine 2.0 technology for the purpose of reproducing images with better colors, textures and bokeh effects. Other additional features such as AI Best Expression, AI Upscaling, AI Object Removal, and AI Smart Cutout are believed to be able to improve the aesthetics of photography.
The battery is a 5000mAh silicon-carbon type that can be charged via 100W fast charging and a USB-C port. The new SIri also supports Beidou satellite communications, including the ability to send good text messages in poor or congested signal environments. Other specifications include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, NFC and stereo speakers.
The Nova 13 is sold in China starting at RMB2,699 (~RM1,642) (256GB), RMB 2,999 (~RM1,824) (512GB) and RMB 3,499 (~RM2,129) (1TB). Meanwhile the Pro model costs RMB 3,699 (~RM2,250) (256GB), RMB 3,999 (~RM2,433) (512GB) and RMB 4,499 (~RM2,737) (1TB).
