Perplexity is one of the search platforms powered by artificial intelligence. Most recently, Perplexity says it has over 100 million searches each week, showing that many have already started using the platform's search support.
Not only that, the latest it was reported in 2023, several companies tried to buy Perplexity. These include big names like Microsoft, X (formerly known as Twitter), Notion, and even OpenAI who developed ChatGPT. It is said that the value offered at the time reached up to $200 million.
However, so far, no purchases have taken place. Perplexity has recently been criticized for using other parties' content without permission and without crediting it. At the same time, Perplexity is also said to be in the process of raising new funds to ensure the survival of their company.
