Oppo Find X8 Series Will Use Hasselblad Camera System

With less than a week left before the official unveiling of the Find X8 series, Oppo is seen sharing its full device design through the official website. Two models are available consisting of Find X8 and Find X8 Pro which also confirms the use of the Hasselblad camera system like several generations before.

The branding can be seen on the round camera bump on the back which houses between three and four cameras depending on the model type. Find X8 uses a completely flat body on the front and back. It can be said to be similar to Apple's latest phone, which is also becoming a trend in most Android manufacturers these days.

It also has a compact 6.59-inch body with a thickness of only 7.85mm and a weight of 193 grams. Oppo further completes the device with a power button and audio controls on the right side. Followed by another Alert Slider button on the left side which was previously also used on the Find N3 series. In addition, it is believed to offer features similar to Camera Control on Apple's latest phones. The bezel is also getting thinner making it look like it's equipped with a full glass panel.

Find X8 Pro uses a fully curved body with a choice of white, blue and black colors. The body is 8.24mm thick and weighs 215 grams, while also accommodating a 6.78-inch screen. The power button and audio adjustment are placed on the right side followed by the slider button opposite. The bezel is also getting thinner making it look like it's equipped with a full glass panel.

Oppo has confirmed that the Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chip will be used in this new flagship phone line. The rest will only be known after it is officially announced in China on October 24.
