The recently launched iPhone 16 family comes with a new physical button, the Camera Control. It's a camera shutter button that can also be controlled with touch and gesture controls. Recently, Oppo has shown their own shutter button on the Find X8.
Interestingly, on the Find X8 – this button also works as a Camera Control. It can not only double tap to access the camera, but also supports gesture control to zoom and tap to take a picture. The uniqueness of Oppo's strategy is that their Camera Control can be used in water to solve the problem of phones with IP68 that do not have a responsive screen when wet.
For now the details of the launch are still unclear, other than that it will be launched in China on October 24. This device is also expected to be launched in Malaysia because it is already listed on the SIRIM website.
