eCredentials are offered to enable individuals or institutions to verify academic and professional qualifications. Regarding certificates, transcript records, official letters, all data recorded by universities or educational institutions can be checked by prospective employees, and their validity determined. This can also reduce the risk of any career falsification, and improve the career market as a whole. In fact, the use of eCredentials also includes any other certificates or confirmations, such as Halal certificates, Marriage certificates, tender documents and many more.
Since 1998, Pos Digicert has issued more than 22 million digital certificates and each year sees around 4.5-5 million digital certificates issued. With the introduction of eCredential this will popularize more digital usage in the future.
