Quick Actions On Adobe Lightroom Perform Quick Editing With AI Help

Adobe MAX 2024 is already underway and some of their products have been updated. The first interesting thing is that the feature of generating videos with AI can finally be tested through the Beta version of Premiere Pro. In addition, the Lightroom application has also been updated with two new AI features.

First is Quick Actions, which is a quick editing feature with the help of AI. With this feature, any part of the image that has been edited or what editing tool has been done will automatically be displayed. Quick Actions can also provide contextual suggestions for what to edit, suggest appropriate tools, and facilitate more in-depth editing. In my testing, what made it easier was that Lightroom seemed to automatically create layers for the subject and background – making the editing process even easier.

According to Adobe, Quick Actions can also handle complex images such as portrait mode by detecting the subject and background. Then the editing done is like professional editing to ensure that the image results have personality. Another feature that is also given is Generative Remove which is a magical eraser to remove unwanted objects or elements.

Generative Remove can now be used by all users with simpler usage methods. It's available in Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom (iOS & Android), Lightroom for web, and Adobe Camera Raw. While Quick Actions are still in the testing stage in Lightroom (iOS & Android) and Lightroom for web.
