As announced last week, Samsung will also use One UI on their smart televisions. According to Sammobile's report this morning, the update to One UI began to be given on Samsung 2023 smart televisions since yesterday.
One UI for smart TVs is based on the latest Tizen 8 operating system instead of Android as used on smart phones and tablets. Through One UI, a new interface was introduced and the Game Bar was also updated. So far the Samsung S90C OLED TV is among the models that have received the One UI update.
The complete list of TVs that will receive it has not yet been announced. Like One UI on flagship smartphones, Samsung also promises 7 years of software support for televisions that are eligible to receive One UI.
